Even Scrooge would marvel at the magical Santa’s Wonderland in College Station, Texas. Every year beginning in early November, the Wonderland goes into full-on holiday mode, bringing Christmas cheer to thousands upon thousands of excited Texans.

Santa’s Wonderland is a massive venue whose sole purpose is to celebrate Christmas. With everything from food to lights to Santa himself, you’ll find ways to make lasting holiday memories here. From the moment you drive up, you’ll see the bright lights and hear the Christmas music, getting you in the spirit right away. As you walk in through the main entrance at Rudolph’s VIP parking lot, you’ll see Santa’s Cottage and a warm bonfire. Have a seat on the Jolly Old Elf’s lap and share your gift wishes before heading off to the Toboggan ride or pausing to enjoy some sing-along Christmas tunes by the live stage.

One of the most popular attractions here is the Trail of Lights. Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute ride along this trail, boasting millions of lights on beautiful displays, in either a Hayride or in the VIP Horse & Carriage with piped-in holiday music and hot chocolate (reservations recommended for the latter).

Take a break at Frostbite’s Food Village, an indoor food court where you can enjoy dinner or a snack. There’s shopping nearby where you will find the perfect gift or ornament for your tree. Stop by the petting zoo and take a pony ride before heading down to Frostbite’s Mountain for some more holiday fun!

Frostbite’s Mountain is made from real snow which is a new feature for 2018! Bring your winter coat and gloves so you can ride the tubes down the sledding hill and have a snowball fight with your friends. Build a snowman and make snow angels in the Snow Playground, then grab some kettle corn or an ice cream before heading out.

Some quick tips to maximize your Wonderland experience:

1. Arrive early to beat the crowds. You won’t want to miss Santa and Mrs. Claus’s grand entrance which happens just a few minutes after the park opens.

2. Check the schedule to see which days are typically the busiest and avoid those if possible. Be patient while you’re there if you do have to wait, remember the Christmas spirit!

3. Book VIP parking and make a Carriage reservation, if you wish, in advance.

4. Bring a warm coat and gloves for the snow play area.

5. Everyone can sit on Santa’s lap, regardless if you choose to purchase the keepsake photo.
