Built atop tall buildings with spectacular views of downtown skylines, the Rooftop Cinema has become a go-to spot in cities like London and Los Angeles, and now it has come to Houston!
So, what exactly is the Rooftop Cinema Club? It’s a stellar movie experience with VIP access to the best views in H-town. Located on the roof of BLVD Place in Uptown, Rooftop Cinema is an outdoor movie experience like no other. It used to be that outdoor movies meant sitting in your car or bringing your own lawn chair, but that’s all changed. The seats at the Rooftop Cinema are adjustable and comfortable reclining deck chairs that come as individual seats or extra large “couples” chairs so you can cozy up together. They even have blankets for chilly evenings so you can snuggle and enjoy the show.
Movie start times are just after sunset, so get there early so you can watch the sun go down over our city’s skyline and then enjoy optimal movie-viewing conditions. Wireless headphones are provided so you don’t have to worry about missing a key line in the show due to someone opening a bag of candy next to you. And speaking of bags of candy, they are available along with bottomless popcorn. The on-site bar provides signature movie-themed cocktails as well as craft beer.
An important note, weekend evening movies are for ages 18 and up. Kids and teens can take in the shows and sights on select Thursdays and must be accompanied by an adult.
