  • The Haunting at Bear Branch presents The Psycho Path – a walking trail through the woods where ghosts, ghouls and gremlins will scare you silly. Encounters with the walking dead are likely, as scary psychos treat you to a thrilling good time along the trail during this guided tour. Live actors, fog machines, strobe lights, and music enhance your adventure. Tickets are $9 per person and advanced ticket purchases are recommended.   • Scream World has been voted the best haunted house in Houston by the Houston Chronicle and Houston Press, so it is definitely worth a visit this season. Located off Beltway 8 on the northwest side, Scream World has five different attractions to scare the “you know what” out of you. Known for their lifelike props and up-close encounters, Scream World has quite the variety of thrilling scenes. The price of admission grants you access to all five attractions and discount night tickets are as low as $19. The scare factor here is pretty intense, so it is not recommended that small children attend. More details available here.
  • The Haunted Trails of Houston are one of the area’s most thrilling outdoor adventures – check them out this season! Two attractions await for one price and you’ll be scared not to take them both in. Open through November 3, get there early to get your tickets and be ready to be freaked out!
