We are well into crawfish season here in the south. Have you enjoyed some yet? If not, check out these local eateries for some delicious dishes!

Big Cab’s Crawfish Cabin might not look like much from the outside, but the locals will tell you they’ve got some of the best crawfish in town, not to mention snow crab and other seafood selections. This “shack” on Gosling Road in Spring has been around for several years and has a loyal following. They boil up some great crawfish and sometimes partner up with other food trucks and shaved ice vendors to complete your meal. Live music is a staple here on weekends, so bring the family and hang out for a while. Just don’t be too late, because they do sell out!

Crab Daddy Seafood, Steakhouse & Market is a great place to get crawfish by the pound in their daily specials buckets. Discount deals on crawfish include “Mud Bug Monday” and “Two Pound Tuesday” among others. They also have many regular menu items containing crawfish for you to sample.

Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen is an authentic Cajun restaurant offering up crawfish in virtually every style. From soup to sandwich (Po’boy, that is) to pasta and everything in between, you’ll find the right crawfish dish for you here. They will have a special Mother’s Day menu in a couple weeks you won’t want to miss!

Babin’s Seafood House isn’t just another chain restaurant, they have unique New Orleans-style ambiance and hospitality along with some great crawfish meals. Serving two types of crawfish soup, crawfish étouffée and crawfish toppings for your fish fillets, you’ll find something to satisfy your crawfish cravings.

If you’re not up for a night out you can always pick up some fresh crawfish from HEB and dine in, too!
