Tiger Woods Unveils Bluejack National Golf Resort

Bluejack National Golf Resort is located where the former Blaketree National Golf Club used to reside in Northwest Houston off FM 1486. Bluejack National is Tiger Woods’ first golf course in the United States. According to the article in the Houston Business Journal, “Woods wanted to design a high-end but casual resort where people can relax with their families and enjoy the game again.”

The first nine holes are currently open, with the back nine slated to open in a few months. The laid-back atmosphere includes a flexible way to play, one where golfers can opt to choose between “three-hole, five-hole, and nine-hole routes.”

“There will be comfort stations throughout the course that allow players to take a break from the game. A fruit stand will offer fresh yogurt, homemade jam and fruit on the back of the fifth hole. An old barn-style shack with a tri-tip grill will serve up meat and Bluejack ale on the back of the 12th and 17th holes.”

All in all, Bluejack National’s goal is to bring back the fun to the game of golf in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Bluejack National is located just under an hour from The Woodlands. Visit Bluejack National online for more information.
