July Red, Hot and Blue Festival

Every year The Woodlands hosts the July 4th, Red, Hot and Blue Festival to celebrate our great nation’s independence. The fun starts with the Star-Spangled Salute concert on Friday, July 3rd at 8pm at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The festivities resume Saturday at 9am with the annual 4th of July Parade, starting at the intersection of Grogan’s Mill and Lake Woodlands. The parade continues through Market Street. The full parade map can be found by clicking here.

In the evening, take in one of the featured bands performing up to the Fireworks Extravaganza presented by BBVA Compass. The main stage, located near the waterway will host Troy Hess and the Texas Heartbreakers at 6:10pm followed by Brian Loftin and the Texas Reflections at 7:55pm.

The front entrance stage, located at the festival entry, will include performances by The Blues Grooves at 6:10pm and the Joey Green Band at 8:15pm, all leading up to the Fireworks show starting at 9:30pm.

There will be numerous activities at the festival including inflatables for the kids, a mechanical bull, face painting, HEB Kids hot dog eating contest, Woodlands Children’s Museum Crafts and various vendor booths. These festivities will all take place at the Town Green Park on Lake Robins Drive next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and across from Market Street.

Parking is Free in the Orange, Yellow, and Blue Lots as well as along Timberloch place and The Woodlands Mall. For closer, but paid parking, head down to Waterway Square Parking Garage, 24 Waterway Square Parking Garage, or the Corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins for additional paid options.
